Project Activity

We provide complex services in the area of projecting the systems of power devices protection. We project protection connections to protected devices, produced by our company as well as by other companies. We also carry out projects for reconstruction.

 

COMPREHENSIVE PROTECTION RELAYS PROJECTS

 

Projects are processed to the extent our customer requests and they can contain:

 

		overview and block diagrams
		diagrams concerning inner connection of boxes and switchboards
		diagrams concerning outconnections
		table concerning protection relays effect
		short circuit calculations
		protection relays parameters adjustment

 

For each assembly unit we process single-pole, linear and connection diagrams and other overviews and descriptions that are a standard part of operational designs.

 

We can elaborate only certain parts of a project individually if a customer requests so. For example, the most frequent orders we accept concern separate calculation of the protection relay adjustment.

 

 

SHORT CIRCUIT CALCULATIONS AND ADJUSTMENT OF PROTECTION RELAYS PARAMETERS

 

A part of the project can be the following:

 

		specification of protection relays and optimization of their
		function
		short circuit calculations made using the method of
		symmetrical components in different short circuit points and
		types (three-pole, two-pole, ground and single-pole)
		and for various configurations of the power system
		overview of calculated values
		overview of protection relays setting

 

So far we have carried out the calculations of protection relays setting for   generators with the total capacity 5583 MW i.e. sum corresponding roughly   to one third of the Czech Republic installed capacity.
